Dominic is a son of the founder, Ron Nash who established the practice in 1957. Born at Long Jetty hospital, he lived his childhood at Shelly Beach, attending St Edwards in East Gosford, before completing his secondary schooling at St Josephs in Hunters Hill. Dominic joined the firm as a law clerk over 30 years ago. Completing his Diploma in Law in 1994 through the Legal Profession Admission Board (LPAB), he became a partner in 2002. His colleagues would describe Dominic as adaptable, thorough and supportive.

A typical month for Dominic might include assisting clients to buy or sell real estate; witness, sign and prepare documents for clients estate planning; establishing a family trust; managing an injury claim or representing a business in court. Pragmatic, careful, and down to earth, Dominic prides himself on reaching solutions for his clients, thinking strategically and creating a roadmap for an outcome while considering each clients’ needs, their budget and circumstances.

Dominic has particular expertise in family law giving professional and discrete advice on critical matters such as divorce, division of property, children’s ongoing care arrangements, child support, spousal maintenance or intervention orders. He understands that establishing and maintaining your legal position in family law matters can be confusing and frustrating. Dominic has a deep knowledge of all aspects of family law, litigation and the Family Court, and a demonstrated history of supporting local clients and families during these stressful times.

He is a member of the NSW Law Society, Central Coast Law Society and Hunter Valley Family Law Practitioners Association, as well as Surf Life Saving Australia. Dominic enjoys running the ‘Nippers’ Surf Education Program at Catherine Hill Bay Surf Club and has done so for some years. When not chasing after his four children he enjoys mountain bike riding, rugby, cricket and piano.
