Amanda is an Associate at the Budgewoi office, acting on conveyancing, commercial property, deceased estates and estate planning - and she will come to you at home, in a nursing home or in hospital if you cannot easily get to her.
Amanda joined Nash Allen Williams & Wotton in 2010 as a receptionist, progressed to paralegal, and was admitted to practice as a solicitor in 2016. She was appointed Associate the following year. She completed her Associate Degree in Law in 2010 and her Bachelor of Laws in 2014 by distance education through Southern Cross University, followed by her Graduate Diploma in Law at the College of Law in 2015. In 2025 she completed the Law Society of NSW Practice Management Course.
She started at the Toukley office, moved to Tuggerah when the Toukley and The Entrance offices merged, and is now based full-time at Budgewoi.
With a comprehensive understanding of NSW conveyancing law, Amanda helps clients buy and sell homes, land and investment property - preparing sales contracts, mortgages and the related legal documents. She also advises on commercial property transactions, reviewing contracts, leases and retirement village agreements, and reviews reverse mortgages.
Amanda has extensive experience in deceased estates, guiding families through applying for probate and distributing the assets. She acts for people who have not been adequately provided for in a will - a family provision claim, often called contesting a will - and also for executors defending those claims. Her estate planning work covers wills, powers of attorney and appointments of enduring guardian, drafted for each person's own circumstances.
Like several of the firm's solicitors, Amanda regularly visits clients who are ill, disabled or elderly at home, in a nursing home or in hospital, so that a will, an enduring power of attorney or an appointment of enduring guardian can still be dealt with properly. Her colleagues describe her as professional, hardworking and compassionate.
Amanda is a member of the Law Society of NSW and the Central Coast Law Society. Outside the law she is a mother, sits on a fundraising committee for the Australian Cancer Research Foundation, and volunteers with the NSW State Emergency Service, where she qualified as a storm operator. She is her unit's Community Engagement Coordinator and has stood in as Acting Deputy Unit Commander.
