Central Coast born and raised, Anita has more than 25 years' experience and has been with the firm since 2000 - a patient, thorough adviser on property, estates and estate planning.
Anita grew up on the Central Coast and completed her secondary education at Central Coast Grammar School at Erina. She attended the University of Newcastle, completing her Bachelor of Arts in 1997 and her Bachelor of Laws and Diploma of Legal Practice in 1999, and joined Nash Allen Williams & Wotton as a solicitor in 2000. Colleagues describe her as patient, calm, thorough and an excellent listener.
Anita regularly advises on residential and commercial property transactions - reviewing contracts, mortgage documents, leases and retirement village agreements. She checks vendor compliance with statutory and contractual obligations, organises pre-purchase inspections and government authority enquiries so purchasers have all the available information, and coordinates settlements with financial institutions and other legal representatives. She also frequently works on deceased estates, guiding families through probate and the distribution of assets, and on estate planning - drafting wills, powers of attorney and appointments of guardian tailored to each person's circumstances.
Whether the matter is buying or selling a property, or challenging or defending a will, Anita brings substantive expertise and an insightful understanding to legal work that is often emotional and highly sensitive. What motivates her is helping people find peace of mind - listening carefully, identifying the real legal issues and using every tool at her disposal to find a solution.
Anita is a busy working mother who enjoys spending time with her family on the Central Coast and in Sydney.
