Anita grew up on the Central Coast and completed her secondary education at Central Coast Grammar School at Erina. She attended the University of Newcastle, completing her Bachelor of Arts in 1997 and her Bachelor of Laws and Diploma of Legal Practice in 1999. Anita joined Nash Allen Williams & Wotton as a solicitor in 2000. Colleagues describe her as patient, calm, thorough and an excellent listener.

Anita regularly advises on residential and commercial property transactions, reviewing contracts, mortgage documents, leases and retirement village agreements. She checks vendor compliance with statutory and contractual obligations, organises pre-purchase property inspections and government authority enquiries to ensure purchasers have all available information during the conveyancing process, and coordinates settlement transactions with financial institutions and other legal representatives.  Anita also frequently deals with Deceased Estates, guiding families through the process of applying for probate and the distribution of assets, and Estate Planning, drafting effective legal documents, such as wills, powers of attorney and appointments of guardian, tailored to each individual’s circumstances.

With over 17 years legal experience, Anita plays a key role in the professional services team delivering consistent, accurate advice. Whether advising on buying or selling a property or challenging or defending wills, Anita offers her substantive expertise and insightful understanding on legal matters that are often emotional and highly sensitive. Motivated by her desire to assist people to gain peace of mind, Anita has a demonstrated track record in providing solutions through listening attentively to her clients, identifying the legal issues and utilising the various legal tools at her disposal.

She is a busy working mother and enjoys spending time with her family on the Central Coast and in Sydney.
