A son of founder Ron Nash, who established the practice in 1957, Michael has spent more than 30 years handling just about every kind of legal matter that walks through the door.
Michael is one of ten children of Ron Nash, the founder of the firm. He completed his schooling at St Josephs in Hunters Hill, studied law at Macquarie University and then at the College of Law, and was admitted to practice in 1984. His career in the family business started earlier than that - he joined as a law clerk in 1980 - and he became a partner in 1984. Colleagues describe him as committed, energetic and a gifted advocate.
Over more than 30 years, Michael has built deep experience in property law - residential, commercial and rural - and has guided clients through business transactions, family law matters, and the management of wills, will disputes and the settling of estates.
He is an accomplished advocate who is genuinely at home in a courtroom. He has defended clients in criminal matters and represented them in civil claims, including personal injury and other negligence matters.
Michael is based at the Budgewoi office. In his spare time he likes to hike - his longest walk so far being the coast to coast, 190 miles across England.
